概述

HCS4300 2POM

The SIPLUS HCS4300 heating control system controls heating elements and other resistive loads in 230 V/277 V and 400 V/480 V voltage supply systems in industrial environments.

Communication takes place via PROFINET or PROFIBUS and can be used together with SIMATIC S7, for example, to form a highly modern and high-performance automation system.

• The configuration can be expanded by up to 8 additional POMs with the use of an EM4315 expansion module. To do so, the EM4315 only needs to be supplied with 24 V DC.

• A maximum of 24 POMs can be operated on one CIM (with 2 EM4315).

• Integrated 2-phase protection of heating elements (supply and return circuit)

• Two Power Output Module versions:

• POM4320 busbar mounting: with integrated busbar adapter for easy mounting on a busbar system.

• POM rear panel mounting: with integrated mounting plate for mounting on the cabinet rear panel.

• Problem-free service and maintenance thanks to simple replacement of fuses

• Different types of heating element (e.g. quartz, halogen, infrared emitters, heating cartridges) can be operated. The same applies to heating elements that have a very low resistance when cold and therefore very high inrush currents.

• Variants with UL/CSA certification for the US American or Canadian market.

The main components of the SIPLUS HCS4300 heating control system are:

• Central Interface Module (CIM) installed in metal enclosure

• Mounting is carried out using 4 screws (2 top and 2 bottom) on the left side of the power output module.

• Power output module (POM) installed in metal enclosure

• Up to 6 power output modules can be operated on one CIM.

• Communication via PROFIBUS IO, for example, with SIMOTION, SIMATIC S7, or Industrial PC

Customized distributed configurations are also possible.
